Paul O'Connor
Paul is a commercial insurance lawyer who specialises in project managing and advising on insurance solutions and opportunities for corporates, professional partnerships and public sector organisations. With extensive experience in the London and international insurance markets, he advises on all aspects of risk retention and risk transfer strategy, including the setting up and management of captives and other ART structures, project/transaction insurance issues and insurance regulation. Prior to co-founding O'Connors LLP in 2003, Paul was Head of Commercial Insurance in the London office of national law firm Eversheds LLP. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Airmic.
Paul has been known to venture on the high seas and is often found bragging about the quality of his unplanned gybes in hip quayside bars and restaurants. He claims it's good for business - yeah, right.
