Paul is a commercial insurance lawyer who specialises in project managing and advising on insurance solutions and opportunities for corporates, professional partnerships and public sector organisations. With extensive experience in the London and international insurance markets, he advises on all aspects of risk retention and risk transfer strategy, including the setting up and management of captives and other ART structures, project/transaction insurance issues and insurance regulation. Prior to co-founding O'Connors LLP in 2003, he was Head of Commercial Insurance in the London office of national law firm Eversheds LLP.

Paul has been known to venture on the high seas, clinging to a spinnaker - mainly to justify the après-sail in hip quayside restaurants, which he claims is good for business. Yeah, right.
